Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress from America. She is most famous for her role as Skyler White on Breaking Bad, an AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward, she has appeared in The Practice. She was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with acting in Preparatory School before her family moved to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. Her studies in theatre were at Northwestern University. A semester was completed in the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her journey in Chicago, working in theatre roles for many years. Then she moved to Hollywood where she started acting in TV shows and films. Anna's first major part was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. Anna continued to appear in movies and television shows like Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and other shows until the end of 1990's. Anna was later selected for The Practice as Jean Ward. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. The show was recast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully, the Deadwood film, and other movies also featured her. Gunn is also a part of the stage in David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. The year 2022 saw Gunn also participated in an audio-play series known as "Numbered days". The romance between Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the story of Breaking Bad with the strained connection between them and the eventual end of their relationship mirroring the same arc of Walter White's final years of his life.
