Christopher Peter Meloni has been known as a well-known American actor throughout his career. The actor is best famous for his roles performed in "Law & Ordinance Special Victims Unit". While in university Christopher Meloni has always been fascinated by the world of acting. He pursued a degree in acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. He was also active in film and TV and on stage, his appearances on small screens were what earned him recognition. He is able to play two characters, one from the perspective of the police and the other. This is what has made him so popular. His first television production, he played an infamous serial killer. Later he portrayed the role of an NYPD investigator. The actor has been nominated several times for the highly coveted Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his smaller screen performances. The most appealing feature of his face is thought to be his striking blue eyes. They are believed to be a trademark and have aided in depicting the rough and savage characters with a sense of humour. The year 2006 was the last time he was included in People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
