The beauty of Alana De La Garza is awe-inspiring on small screens. The parents of De La Garza were both Irish and Mexican American. The actress was born in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26, 1976. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas to pursue a physical therapy career within the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on various acting roles in independent local film as well as international commercials. The actress quickly discovered her love for the art of acting, despite tiny parts. After that, she relocated in New York in 2001 and got her first job in acting in the role of Rosa Santos on All My Children which is a soap for the daytime. She had minor roles on JAG The Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men in the early 2000s. Her first big series role was on the short-lived 2004 series The Mountain. De La Garza had the pleasure of working with some great TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. In 2006 she was the lead character A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 seasons. Then she joined the short-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. The character she played has earned De La Garza several nominations such as Best Supporting Actress - Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. She was awarded an Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on an intense television show from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a regular role on CSI Miami a short time after. She played Marisol Delko, the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. The most recent television appearance was in the role of Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's slightly dark drama Do No Harm. After two short episodes the show was canceled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is the younger sibling of Cory and is Italian by origin. She was brought up in the strict, religious home of her family. Milano started her acting profession at the age of seven, when her babysitter accompanied her to an acting audition. The audition was attended by four girls out of more than 1000 hopefuls. Milano has appeared in TV commercials, off Broadway productions and Jane Eyre, the American premier of Jane Eyre.
